XY graphs
Plot graphs of functions of x. More...
To create a graph, type a function of x into the Function field and press the Plot button. Functions are calculated using math.js, using a simple syntax, for example:
- x^2 for x squared.
- sqrt(x) for the square root of x.
- 10^x for 10 raised to the power x.
- log(x) for the natural log of x (or log10(x) for the log using base 10).
- sin(x) for the sine of x, and asin(x) for teh inverse sine.
The Add plot button will add extra function field, so you can plot up to 4 graphs on the axes.
Change the x and y range of the graph by altering the fields (X Start etc) and pressing the Apply range button. Alternatively, drag and scroll the graph area with the mouse to shift and zoom. The Reset view button restores the default settings if you get lost.
